This house, is the Norfolk retreat of HM Queen and is set in a 24 hectares of gardens and greenland. The house's main ground floor rooms are still regularly used by the Royal Family. There are exhibitions shown every year that have different themes and the visitors centre offer a range of facilities both indoor and outdoor. For the children there's a play area for them to explore.

Tips

An enjoyable visit, lived in Kings Lynn now 10 years and never visited the house although we have been to Sandringham grounds many times, we had a French student so thought we would make the effort. We went mid week after school, perfect time as not many others there, so had a nice walk round the house and could easily integrate with the guides on route. It's always a down side for me when your not allowed to take photos, But we made up for it in the museum part. Which I'm guessing I found more interesting than the kids.

Nice day out, cafe costs alot, no much for kids to do
