The Rotunda Museum is a wonderful place to visit to learn all about the geology and the local history of the Yorkshire coast. The museum opened in 1829 and has been delighting visitors ever since. During your visit, you'll see a Bronze Age skeleton and a tree trunk burial find. Kids will love discovering Scarborough's Lost Dinosaurs, an exhibit displaying Scarborough's Jurassic residents.

Directions

Take the A165 north to Scarborough and then turn right on to Somerset Terrace. Follow around on to the Crescent.

Tips

Smallest museum in the world! Very little to see. Took us 15 minutes to see everything and that was walking slowly with two small children!!
