Bring the family to see this great house that has a large estate and beautiful gardens and was once home to the infamous Delaval family. The house is one of the finest in the north east of England and is among the best examples of its architect, Sir John Vanbrugh. Be amazed at the interiors from the Central Hall to the cellars and hear amazing stories about this home and the flamboyant family that once lived here. The grounds and estate are great to explore. There is a woodland play area with a unique play area that has tunnels, log bridges and climbing walls, all made from trees felled on the estate.
