Bring the family here to see something quite unique, you will learn all about the king of fish the salmon and their life cycle. See what dangers they have to survive and how the female lay around 5000 eggs! Then afterwards watch the salmon live on 4 different camera as they make their way up the Ettrick river. The children will love the video games, crawling spaces where they can pretend to be a salmon fry, a life size salmon bean bag and colourful images and text to enhance their experience. In the right season see salmon leaping up the Cauld on the last leg of their epic journey in season (either May & June or Sept to Nov when river is high), which is not far from the centre.
