This dramatic house dates back all the way to the 15th century and was the home of the Ferrers family for 500 years. Inside you will step back in time and admire the Elizabethan interior from when the house was a haven for persecuted Catholics - there are three priest's holes. For the children there is a children's guide available and also family events are organised throughout the year. The house is surrounded by some beautiful gardens and has a lake to explore. The children will enjoy the nature trail on the estate as well as the maze and balancing beams.
