If you want to escape the noise of the city then bring the family to this tucked away botanic garden packed with a wonderful collection of fascinating plants. Anytime of the year there is something to see, either in the gardens or in the hot houses. For the children there are trails to follow including the Friendly Wood Self Guided Trail including aimed at 3 - 7 year olds. The gardens hold events throughout the year for families and there are clubs that the children can join too.
