A beautiful 16th century house with glorious grounds. The children will love the garden of surprises, where they can run through fountains and explore. The inside of the house is fascinating, with huge decorative rooms and interesting stories and history- grab a audio tour to hear all about it or ask the friendly attendants. The grounds were designed by the famous Capability Brown, take a walk around and explore, find the sculpture garden. Events are held all throughout the year so make sure that you check the website.

A super place to visit. Delightful grounds to walk/bike/scooter around and have a picnic. The deer are beautiful to see so close up. Children's Garden is lovely in the Summer with all the fountains - be warned though it is a little on the pricey side to get in.
