About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

This well preserved Tudor building is the old home of Shakespeare's granddaughter whose first husband was Thomas Nash, and it is furnished as it would have been when she lived here. Next door to the house are the ruins of Shakespeare's old house where he wrote some of his famous pieces and eventually was where he died in 1616. You can see the archaeological objects that were discovered during the three year dig that was in the grounds. In the summer at the weekends there is a family marquee with hands-on activities and Tudor games.
