Lydford Gorge is a steep sided, oak wooded river gorge with fascinating history. It is the deepest gorge in the southwest and can be explored through short or long walks. View the magnificent tumbling White Lady Waterfall and pass over the Tunnel Falls then watch the river bubble in the Devil's Cauldron. With plenty of wildlife and beautiful greenery, this spot is a visiting must for nature lovers.

Follow the brown signs from the A30 or A386. Situated halfway between Okehampton and Tavistock, 1 mile west off A386 opposite Dartmoor Inn: Devil's Cauldron entrance at west end of Lydford village; Waterfall entrance near Manor Farm
