Start your journey of the Gorge at a fascinating information centre and museum. Discover the history of the Ironbridge Gorge and why it is listed as a World Heritage site. See what it would have been like living in the Gorge in 1796 from the help of the 12m long model. There is a fascinating film on the history of the Gorge and a collection of local iron products on display. The Museum of the Gorge is one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums.

Directions

Take the M54 and exit south at junction 5 on to the A442 past Madeley and turn right on to Brockton. Continue on to Ironbridge and follow signs.
