This 86ft octagonal tower which was built in 1720, as a navigational aid to shipping, and is now a multi attraction. Over eight floors it houses a gallery with three exhibitions a year, a museum on the Tower and Naze, tea rooms and a roof viewing platform with spectacular panoramic views. The Naze is a popular ‘public open space’ which is well used for recreation and learning. The large area behind the Naze itself is filled with tidal creeks, islands and salt marsh to create a beautiful and astonishing view. The best way to experience the Naze is to just simply visit.
