About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

Butser Ancient Farm is a fascinating place to visit. Using evidence obtained from excavations, it is a reconstructed working farm from the Iron Age. See houses built from clay, wood and thatch and some rare breed sheep and goats. Find out what people ate and how they survived from the Stone Age to the Anglo Saxons. Kids can dig up artefacts, listen to fascinating talks, follow trails and drink hot chocolate around the fire. They have recently welcomed the arrival of two cute baby goats who are definitely worth meeting!
