About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

Once the family home of Winston Churchill for over 40 years, Chartwell is set amongst beautiful countryside. Not much has changed from when Churchill lived here and the rooms still contain personal belongings with pictures and books still in their place. Take a walk through the gardens where you will see the lakes that he created as well as the kitchen garden and even the Marycot, a playhouse that Churchill designed for his youngest daughter Mary.
