Visit this island if you and the family enjoy spotting wildlife, exploring and relaxing. The quiet island is located five miles offshore from Weston-Super-Mare in the Bristol Channel and is a nature reserve and a site of scientific interest. The island was fortified by the Victorians and these days you can explore the ruins of what were barracks, gun batteries and cannons. The barracks have been restored and now house a visitors centre. No children under the age of 5 The boat leaves from Knightstone Causeway in Weston-super-Mare, please check the website for all restrictions and t&c's.
