As one of the most popular beaches in the UK, Weston-super-Mare is a a great day out for children and adults alike! The beach itself consists of miles of golden sand and a fabulous new pier, built after a fire destroyed the original one in 2008. Weston-super-Mare is famous for it's donkey rides on the beach, which will be sure to put a smile on the kids' faces! Close to the town, you can do a spot of shopping or stop for lunch in one of the many places to eat. Don't leave without experiencing the Weston Wheel which takes you 40 meters up to take in the full stunning view of the sea front.

Directions
Take the M5 and exit at junction 21 on to the A370 and head west. Stay on the A370 until you get to the beach and follow signs for car parks.

Awesome. Changes since I was there 20 years ago and not so muddy!
