878 AD is located on the upper floor of The Brooks, Winchester Hampshire, SO23 8QY. The second part of the experience is a self-guided augmented reality tour throughout the city of Winchester. Winchester has fantastic transport links to and from London, Reading, Basingstoke, Southampton and many other major destinations. By car: Winchester is accessible via major road routes including the M3, A34 and A31. Parking: Winchester Park and Ride has multiple parking sites across the city, with a stop just a short walking distance to the venue. Find out more at Winchester City Council’s website. Parking is available in The Brooks Shopping Centre’s car park and at car parks throughout the city. Please note that The Brooks Shopping Centre car park is open until 6:30pm Monday – Saturday and 5:30pm on Sundays. By train: Winchester is on the South West main line, with regular, direct trains to and from London Waterloo and major cities across the South and Midlands. It is approximately a 15 minute walk from the railway station to The Brooks Shopping Centre. Buses run regularly from the railway station to the city centre. By bus: Winchester is served by bus services from Stagecoach, Bluestar and National Express. The nearest stop to The Brooks Shopping Centre is Siverhill Road, alternatively, the main bus station is a short walk away
