On the shores of Windermere is this great visitor centre, the site is over 30 acres with meadows and woodland. The children will love the adventure playground with rope walks, slides, swings, scramble nets and zip wires. There is even an indoor soft play and creativity area for the days when maybe the sun isn't shining. Go explore the grounds where there are bike friendly paths, hidden lakeshore coves which are perfect for paddling and you can purchase Little Legs Trail leaflet for 50p and hunt for clues outside plus do some colouring-in.

Somewhere To Eat?

The on-site cafe provides plenty of outdoor and indoor seating for you and your family to enjoy some Cumbrian cooking that will satisfy everyone. From the cakes to the hot meals, its a fantastic way to refuel after a long day. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic as there are plenty of areas to relax in the sun, including many of the picnic tables.

There are toilets located on the ground floor of the visitors centre.

There is baby changing facilities on the first floor of the centre. There is plenty for them to do with the free soft play area and creativity space.

Absolutely awesome day out with my boys, 7 and 3, the nets were well worth the money!
