Runnymede is an area of meadows and woodland that sits alongside the Thames and is the site where King John signed the Magna Carta in 1215. There are beautiful views of the countryside and you’ll find the ruins of the Benedictine priory and a 2,500 year-old Yew tree. A relaxing day for those wanting to get off the beaten track.
