Go on an fun-filled educational journey at this action-packed family day out in the heart of Wallasey on the banks of the iconic river Mersey. With hands-on activities and unique opportunities to learn all about our bodies, our homes and our planet through themed zones, all with something for kids of all ages! Bodies - start off by walking through a giant pair of lungs and into a zone of discovery! You’ll learn all about the human body, how it works, and even what would happen if you turned it inside out! Homes - unpack the way our homes work in this interactive exhibit gallery that asks the questions what is it for? Why is it made like that? How does it work? And would I do it differently? Nature - explore the wonder of nature from the micro to the macro-scale, from the bugs which support our ecosystems, to the turbines that will help us protect it. The Burrow – for our youngest visitors aged 0-7 to discover, explore and play in this space designed to inspire creativity through nature-themed exhibits and activities. Make Create - an open space for making, designing, creating, imagining, and bringing those incredible ideas to life! After a long day of discovery and opening your mind to new possibilities, some fuel will be needed! Head to the on-site café and enjoy a delicious lunch or refreshment, all while admiring the view of the waterfront where ferries sail by and seagulls soar.
