Come and see what remains of this secret wartime air base where thousands of people lived and worked in the 1940's. In the middle of the estate is the home of the Earls of Coventry, which is patiently waiting to be restored. For the children there is the RAF themed playground and a natural play area ready for fun and games. Make sure that you grab an Explorer Pack to make some wild discoveries and pop along to the outdoor hub.

Lots of space for kids to run around. It has a great playground and natural play area, with lots of hiding and Den building to be done.
The cafe is quite large but a bit pricey as National Trust places tend to be.
There are usually kid activities and trails/ treasure hunts on during school holidays.
