About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
This elegant 18th century historic house is non pretentious and fascinating where you can see the upstairs downstairs life of a gentry family over 250 years. The house is crammed full with gorgeous paintings, furniture, textiles and wallpapers and outside there is plenty to explore including the outbuildings, formal gardens and landscaped parkland. Make sure that you pick up an explorer map for the children to use as they make their way around or borrow some binoculars so you can go wildlife spotting. There is a Wolf's Den which is a great place for the little ones to let off steam, you can take a carriage ride through the park and lots more. There are many events held throughout the year so check out their website for the latest information.

Our 2yr old loves the Wolf's Den, an outdoor area made up of logs and trees stumps, for kids of all ages. Gardens are beautiful, he loves the open space and ducks.
