I like the museum and being a York resident it's free for my family, which is wonderful. The toy stories section is a lovely idea and the little corner for children is great but could do with a few more toys that children can play with and it's a bit small - we go with our toddler during the times when bigger children are at school so it's nice and quiet and enough room for our boy to play but I presume it must be pretty crowded at other times. Another attraction is the freshly made cookies in the museum kitchen - you can see them being made and baked and then can have a taste - brilliant. I think there's much potential and should be expanded.
