This large open-air museum is a fascinating place to bring the family for a day out to learn all about war time Britain, it is also the location of The Allied Air Forces Memorial. Inside the hangers you will be amazed at the number of aircraft on offer from pre war biplanes, a Spitfire and the more recent Nimrod MR2. Inside one of the Bomber Command buildings, there is an exhibition with a large collection of rarely seen images, information on some famous aviators and a display on the R100 Airship. There's also exhibitions on historic military vehicles and air gunner collection that you can explore.
